dc.description.abstract | In today``s world of fast-moving global markets and fierce competition, firms try to innovate their business process using information and communication technologies. Using ICTs (Information and Communications Technologies) firms are trying to find new business model during enhancing their collaborative relationship with partner firms. However, only large companies are doing and enhancing collaborative commerce with their partner firms joyfully. SMBs don``t have belief that they get enough benefit by investing IT and enhancing collaborative commerce with other firms. Compared to their quantitative growth, IT infrastructure of SMBs is not enough to conduct collaborative commerce with other firms. Still they are passive in adopting IT and their interest in e-transformation is low. Adopting and managing IT systems is one of heavy burden for SMBs. Those kinds of situations make SMBs depend on support of government. However, by adopting simple and standard type of ERP supported by government, they can``t fully utilize IT systems. Also there is not enough manpower to handle those problems related IT systems. Basically those problems of IT infrastructure for SMBs associate with problems to obstacle collaboration, because collaboration can be achieved through IT system. IT systems enable firms to do collaboration with other firms more effectively. Peter Finger and Ronald Aronica explained that how business process integration is related to IT. Visibility provided by ICTs makes companies produce in a more coordinated, efficient manner. With an IT system as a connecting tool for business process integration, also consulting and incentives are fundamental elements for whole segments of proceeding for collaboration. Especially, fair incentives correspondent to each firm``s efforts are essence to encourage SMBs in doing collaborative commerce.
