(An) economic production cycle model with investment cost for setup reduction and quality improvement셋업(setup)감소와 품질 향상을 위한 투자가 고려될때의 최적 정책 결정에 관한 연구
Setup reduction and quality improvements are important factors and have been the key issues in modern manufacturing systems. Assuming a specific form of investment cost which relates to the factors, a multi-product capacitated EPQ model is proposed. Utilizing Geometric Programming, closed-form of optimal solution is obtained for setup cost, setup time, quality level and production cycle time. The analysis is extened to the case where overtime is allowed.
