(A) CSI feedback and a redundant transmission scheme for cooperative communication systems

Abstract

In this thesis, we investigate a CSI feedback scheme for cooperative communication systems. We introduce an optimal relay-precoder and a decoder. We propose a CSI feedback scheme for relay-precoding. The proposed CSI feedback scheme decreases the feedback overhead. And the proposed CSI feedback scheme also achieves an identical performance and a computation compactness. In addition, we propose a redundant transmission scheme. With the proposed transmission scheme, a source transmits at the first time slot and a source and relays transmit at the second time slot. We optimize a decoder, a relay-precoder and a source power allocation with the proposed transmission scheme.
