Reduced equation of state and thermodynamic properties of molten high polymers according to the significant structure theory용융 고분자의 열역학적 성질에 대한 연구

The significant structure theory of liquids has been applied to the molten amorphous polymers. Expressions of corresponding states for these systems is derived for the equation of state and thermodynamic properties such as expansion coefficient, compressibility, internal pressure, cohesive energy density, and surface tension. The chain flexibility, characteristic temperature, and volume are defined. The obtained values from significant structure theory are reasonably agreed well with experimental results, in comparison with those from other models.
