dc.description.abstractStop-motion animation creation enhances skills such as spatial-temporal perception and creative thinking, making it actively utilized in educational settings. This paper proposes an augmented reality-based virtual guideline system for shooting to assist children in more accurately perceiving and expressing the three-dimensional spatial-temporal positions during stop-motion animation creation. Users can intuitively grasp characters’ actual three-dimensional positions and movements by utilizing a virtual reality head-mounted display (VR HMD) instead of the conventional 2D interfaces. This allows children to create more creative and unrestricted stop-motion animations. Therefore, the system introduced in this study is expected to improve children’s spatial-temporal perception skills in educational environments.-
