With the increasing importance of corporate talent acquisition, there is a growing interest among companies in adopting artificial intelligence-based recruitment systems to enhance the efficiency of the hiring process and provide applicants with new recruiting experiences. Despite this growing interest, most research has predominantly focused on comparative analyses between AI and human recruiters or studies exploring consumer perceptions of services provided from the perspective of AI-human collaboration. Consequently, there is a lack of research addressing the influence of artificial intelligence services' form and contextual context on consumer perceptions. To address this research gap, based on CASA theory, this study investigates how the anthropomorphism level of an AI recruiter's appearance and decision valence affect applicants' perceptions of justice and attractiveness toward the company through a 2*2 scenario-based experiment. This study is meaningful in providing insights for companies considering AI adoption strategies in the recruiting process, especially for AI recruitment solution developers and companies exploring adopting AI systems.
