| dc.description.abstract | however, the current lack of trust in the cars themselves poses a significant obstacle. In this regard, it is necessary to demonstrate the mechanism of individual trust in AI-based fully self-driving cars, but there is a lack of relevant research to date. Hence, this study analyzed what determinants affect the change of trust in AI-based fully self-driving cars from a cognitive psychology perspective. To this end, we designed a research model based on dual-process and trust transfer theories, and surveyed 473 Americans. The results of the analysis showed that seven of the nine hypotheses were significant. This study provides academic and practical implications by empirically analyzing the trust formation mechanism of AI-based fully self-driving cars. | - |
