dc.description.abstract | This paper presents a new transparent surface haptic display that can generate both electrovibration and mechanical vibration simultaneously. It can provide not only effective vibrotactile feedback from uniform mechanical vibration on an entire touch surface, but also programmable friction force from electrovibration that enables to simulate the kinesthetic sensation of 3D geometric feature. Also, complicated texture information can be conveyed to users when they are rendered simultaneously. | - |
