The inertial focusing positions in a triangular microchannel is known to vary with Re and particle sizes. The focusing positions of the deformable particles are slightly different from that of the solid particle due to the deformability induced lift force. We have studied inertial focusing of cells and droplets in triangular channels and evaluated the separation feasibility using the differences in deformability of particles and cells.
