임베디드 방향성 시추를 위한 생체 모방형 굴착 장치가 개시된다. 일 실시예에 따르면, 굴착 장치는 회전하며 지반을 굴착하는 드릴 비트(Drill bit); 및 상기 드릴 비트의 측면에 배치된 채 상하로 움직이며 회전 왕복 동작을 하여 상기 굴착된 지반을 제거하는 잔해 제거부를 포함한다.
