The invention relates to an electronic circuit comprising an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a noise coupling filter. The analog to digital converter generates 1st-bit output signals based on 2nd-class ratio signals and 1st-class ratio signals. The noise coupling filter generates first class ratio signals for the input feedback to the analog to digital converter based on first quantization errors associated with converting first class ratio signals into 2nd-bit output signals. Based on the clock in the digital domain, the noise coupling filter performs noise shaping on 1st-bit error signals converted from first quantization errors and generates 2nd-class ratio signals according to the result of the noise shaping.
