패턴 인식을 위한 제스처를 선별하는 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 복수의 제스처들에 대해 측정된 사용자의 근전도 신호들의 특성(feature)을 추출하고, 추출된 근전도 신호들의 특성을 클러스터링(clustering)한 결과에 기초하여 복수의 제스처들 중 패턴 인식을 위한 제스처(gesture)를 선별하는 제스처를 선별하는 방법을 제공할 수 있다.
