Casual footwear caters to people’s desire of leisure life in the rapid pace of economic era and it is being accepted by more and more people. This study is an attempt to identify the influential factors of customers’ purchasing behavior of casual footwear and their relative importance. Firstly, the 25 possible items which can influence customer’s purchasing behavior were found by literature analysis and interview method. Secondly, questionnaires were conducted on 90 young subjects and reliability analysis, factor analysis and importance analysis were used to statistically analyze the questionnaire data. The results showed that there were 6 influential factors on purchasing decision of casual footwear and their relative importance were identified as well.The findings from this study can be applied by 30 casual footwear manufacturers on making decision for product design and production.
