여성 노인의 인구사회학적 특성과 신체구성 및 체력요인과의 관련성 - 수도권을 중심으로 -Correlation among Demographic-sociological Variables, Body Composition and Physical Fitness Factors in Older Women : in the Metropolitan Area

The purpose of this study was to investigate demographic-sociological variables among body composition and physical fitness in the older women. The subjects of this study were 344 older women(71.9±6.28 years) in the metropolitan area. The body composition was measured by in-Body 4.0. The collected data were analyzed frequency, descriptive statistics, and pearson correlation by using the SPSS-Win 12.0 program. The results of this study were as follow. 1. demographic-sociological variables were resulted that there were range of 65-70 years(38.6%), blue worker(67.4%), live with family(62.3%), light physical activity(57.2%), weight no loss(61.1%), non alcohol(53.6%), regular exercise(62%), exercise frequency 4 per week(47.4%), and exercise duration 3 month(35.9%). 2. Correlation of demographic-sociological variables to physical fitness were significantly. Age were significantly to flexibility, grip strength, muscular strength, and balance(p<.01). Job were significantly to grip strength(p<.01), and balance(p<.05). Housing were significantly to grip strength, muscular endurance(p<.01), and balance(p<.05). Daily activity were significantly to flexibility, grip strength, and muscular endurance(p<.05). Regular exercise were significantly to cardiovascular endurance(P<.05), grip strength, and muscular endurance(P<.01). 3. Correlation of body composition to physical fitness were significantly that height, fat mass, muscle mass, and %Body fat to physical fitness factors. Therefore further studies are needs to identify which factors are to confirm the effect of physical activity on cognition.
