The purpose of this study was to estimate the anthropometric factors to grip and key pinch strength in the elderly. The subjects of this study were 310 elderly (M: n=159, F: n=151). Each anthropometric factor were divided by length (7), breadth (3), and circumference (4). Strength factors were divided by grip and pinch and E-link Evaluation System V900S (Jarmar dynometer) was used to measure grip strength of each segment level and key pinch. Hand length, breadth, and circumference of male older adults were lager than women. Also, grip and key pinch strength were lager than female older adults. Grip strength were the highest in Level 2 segment of the elderly men and women on 27.90±7.30 kg, 17.84±4.34 kg, Key pinch strength of the elderly men and women were 5.94±2.48 kg in man, 4.09±1.59 kg in women. Activity of daily living to maintain the physical ability and independence life in the elderly were related to estimate hand shape, muscle strength and function, it is necessary to provide criteria to identify. Therefore, to measure of hand anthropometric factor, grip and key pinch strength old were to identify in the product development of household.
