In this study, strain-based transfer path analysis (sTPA) method is developed for estimation of the operational force on structure. The strain modal testing was used to evaluate the frequency response functions (FRF) instead of acceleration. The method is validated by finite element model and experimentally. The estimated operational force by the sTPA is compared with the estimated operational force by acceleration-based TPA (aTPA). In addition strain-acceleration or acceleration-strain hybrid TPA based on transmissibility function whichi is possible to estimate the responses is developed and validated.
