dc.description.abstractCT images are changed whenever they are newly scanned for checking the path of the needle during needle intervention simulation. However, there is no new scanned CT image during needle intervention simulation. Also, a capacity for saving CT images is limited. This paper proposed CT image warp algorithm for needle intervention simulation for these reasons. This algorithm consists of three parts which are transforming DICOM images to BITMAP images, creating meshes on the transformed images, and applying mapping functions for deforming the meshes. CT images are warped partly through this algorithm.-
