dc.description.abstract | Visualized Engine is constructed to observe DISC(Direct Injection Stratified Charge) processes in the GDI(Gasoline Direct Injection) engine cylinder. This Engine is built by modification of the conventional 4-stroke PFI(Port Fuel Injection) engine and its all parts of cylinder liner is visualized. Because vibrational characteristics are not bad operations over 2000rpm speed is possible. Using this visualized engine, GDI fuel injection processes and flame propagation can be observed by photographic technique. This engine possibly will be used for qualification of DISC combustion mechanism. | - |
