dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the adaptive control of active suspension systems. Conventional preview control systems for active suspensions have the limitation of performance in real applications, because they assume constant vehicle speed and fixed road models. This paper proposes an adaptive look ahead preview control system for active suspension systems based on both a delayed filter and a Filtered-X LMS algorithm. We show that the proposed control systems have the robustness to various traveling conditions through computer simulation of a quarter car model.-
