dc.description.abstract | A compact multiband internal antenna has been proposed for multistandard personal communication handsets. The antenna simultaneously covers various frequency bands such as GSM, DCS, PCS, UMTS, WiBro, Bluetooth, S-DMB, and WLAN. Total volume of the antenna is 0.78 cm(3) (2.6 cm X 1.5 cm X 0.2 cm) that makes it attractive for multiband slim handsets.
