dc.description.abstractThe solvent effect on sulfur ylide mediated epoxidation reaction was studied systematically. While higher trans/cis ratio of the epoxide was obtained in the more polar solvent, protic solvent produced the lower trans/cis ratio than any aprotic solvent.-
