dc.description.abstract | In this paper, the reflection coefficient of a flanged rectangular waveguide radiating into a dielectric slab is rigorously studied with the Fourier transform and mode-matching technique. Residue calculus is used to convert the reflection coefficient into rapidly convergent series. Computations are performed to illustrate the numerical efficiency of the reflection coefficient.
