dc.description.abstract | A new architecture for an optical interconnection system that can be applied in a waveguide-embedded optical printed circuit board is demonstrated. 45degrees-ended optical connection rods were used to guide light paths perpendicularly between surface-emitting lasers (or photodiode) and waveguides.
