Catalytic and highly efficient 1,4-addition of terminal alkynes to conjugated enones by [RuCl2(p-cymene)](2)/pyrrolidine
[GRAPHICS] A wide range of terminal alkynes was added to conjugated enones in a 1,4-fashion by a ruthenium catalyst in the presence of catalytic amounts of an amine base, and the corresponding gamma,delta -alkynyl ketones were obtained in good to excellent yields.
