dc.description.abstractA noncrystalline mesoporous molecular sieve has been synthesized by hydrothermal polymerization of silicate and aluminate anions surrounding the molecular organization of hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride in the presence of various organic polyacids. The noncrystalline molecular sieve is very similar to the well-known mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 in the aspect of the high specific surface area and uniform Fore sizes, but the channel arrangement interconnected in a three dimensional disordered way distinguishes it most conspicuously from the MCM-41 which exhibits hexagonal arrangement of straight channels. The disordered structure has remarkably high hydrothermal stability and thermal stability, compared with MCM-41 and MCM-48.-
