Efficient cyclodesulfurization of N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-N'-arylthioureas to Delta(2)-oxazolines using superoxide radical anion
Delta 2-Oxazolines have been synthesized in good yields by the cyclodesulfurization of N-(2-hydroxyethyl)-N'-phenylthioureas with superoxide radical anion (O-2(-.)) at room temperature in anhydrous acetonitrile.
