dc.description.abstract | The authors propose a new scene-based traffic model and its queueing solution for MPEG video sequences. Using a simple scene detection algorithm scene changes and frame size variation are modelled by a two-dimensional Markov chain. The numerical results show that our analytical model accurately approximates the queueing performance of original videos. | - |
