dc.description.abstractKinetic and competition studies establish that the rate constant for 6-exo cyclizations of alkyl radicals to N-aziridinyl imines is approximately 4.7x10(6) s(-1) at 80 degrees C, whereas competition studies indicate that the rate constant for the corresponding 5-exo cyclization would be over 2.5x10(8) s(-1) at 20 degrees C.-
