Scattering from a U-bend in a parallel plate
Electromagnetic wave scattering from a right-angled U-bend in a parallel plate is investigated. Simple analytic series solutions are obtained using the Fourier transform, mode matching, and residue calculus. The reflection and transmission coefficients are calculated in terms of a U-bend geometry. (C) 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
