Acylation of diethyl (Ethoxycarbonyl) Fluoromethyl Phosphonate Using Magnesium Chloride Triethy Lamine: A Facile Synthesis of α-Fluoro β-Keto Esters
A facile synthesis of alpha-fluoro beta-keto esters, via diacylation reaction of diethyl (ethoxycarbonyl)fluoromethylphosphonate with aromatic carboxylic acid chlorides in the presence of magnesium chloride-triethylamine followed by deacylation, is described.
