An exact series solution for the oblique scattering and coupling problems by an infinite, concentrically loaded slit cylinder with thickness is formulated for TM plane wave using mode matching technique. The scattered and penetrated fields are represented in terms of an infinite series of radial modes. By applying the appropriate boundary conditions, the coefficients of scattered and penetrated fields are obtained. Numerical results for the internal field are given, and these are in good agreement with some of the available published data.-
