dc.description.abstractThe authors propose a simple adaptive retransmission control scheme for slotted frequency-hopped spread-spectrum multiple access systems. The scheme changes the retransmission probability adaptively according to the system state such that channel throughput can be maximised. It is shown that a performance quite close to the maximum possible throughput can be achieved.-
