The environment for home video makes has much improved to previous days. The price of camcorder has much cheaper to capable for amateur users. Because the video data is being saved to digital format (mpeg) directly, accessibility has much improved. It makes easier sharing of video data on the net like “YouTube.com” as form of the UCC (user created contents). But, still the reuse of video data is not easy because of accumulated enormous amount of raw video data. We investigate in situ tagging method to solve this problem. We designed and tested the simplest methods, 1 bit tagging, “the interval tagging” and “key-frame tagging”. Through the experiment of user experience we knew the “key-frame” tagging method have little cognitive load to the users because of accustomed practice; photo taking, and also showed similar satisfaction of the manual post annotation which need a lot of effort.
