There were the design and manufacture of CDMA cellular PCS transceiver ahead of the manufacture of IMT2000/PCS dual-band transceiver. The purpose of the manufacture of this transceiver is making sure of the relation between the performance of transceiver and various components, the justification of the method of design and the method of otimization ahead of the fundamental development of multi-standard transceiver.
First of all, in this thesis , the basic theories of RF system and the wireless receiver (nonlinearity, noise, receiver performance and so on), and the recommended minimum standards of IS-98A/B and J-STD-018 are analyzed. That is, the test condition of mobile station is presented and the limitation value of each parameter of transceiver satisfying the test is generated. And, on the base of this analysis, the process of RF transceiver design (design parameters, design considerable points of each block, design sequence and so on), implementation and the performance measurement of manufactured transceiver are described. And the selection of components fitted for the performance requirement of the generative transceiver and the estimation of performance and the process of simulation are included. The process and results of transceiver analysis based on measured data of manufactured module and on computer simulation, were described.
After that, depending on the standard, comparative study of the observed results performed and the conclusion for the whole system design with transceiver design optimization methodology is derived.
