Techno-Socio-Economic aspects of the fourth generation wireless infrastructure

Abstract

In the year 2010, the Fourth Generation Wireless telecommunication systems (4GW) are expected to appear. Here, we made up the future wireless telecom scenarios based on an extensive survey. As far as the future wireless telecom environment is concerned, technologies are not enough factors for wireless operators to be successful in the market. Rather, the techno-socio economic factors seem to be much more important. This paper contributed to find out the need for techno-socio economic factors such as new pricing schemes, Mobile e-commerce business strategy, and the new cellular business model to accelerate the market success in 4GW.
