Recently, organizations are facing not only the time of change but also that of information and knowledge. Because of the rapid changes in turbulent business environments, the quickly growing bodies of relevant information, and the escalation of knowledge and skill requirements for most jobs, employees need to learn at higher rates of effectiveness and efficiency than before; therefore, the need for enhancing effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process is urgent in both the academic and business environments. Nonetheless, our business training system has been left behind in the industrial age. The initial attempts to bring information technology to business training follow a classic story of automating rather than transforming. Information technology is primarily used to automate the information delivery in traditional classrooms. In the absence of fundamental changes to the learning process, such classrooms may do nothing but speed up ineffective processes of learning. That``s why the concept of business innovation, business process redesign(BPR) or reengineering is needed in business training processes. Most BPR advocates have not yet paid much attention to business training process for some reasons. Furthermore, though some educational experts have studied on educational effectiveness via information technology, their efforts have some limitation of lacking in understanding of state-of-the-art information technology. Main concern of this research is to provide a model for business training innovation through information technology with the help of the concept of BPR. In an effort to radically improve business training performance, this research proposed a model of business training innovation using integrated training management system.eng
