강의 침붕처리에 초음파가 미치는 영향에 관한 연구A study on the effect of ultrasonics on boronizing of steel
초음파가 강의 전해침붕처리와 액체침붕처리의 기구와 기계적 성질에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사되었다.
전해침붕처리 및 액체침붕처리에서 초음파는 모두 표면층의 경도와 내마모성을 향상시켰으며, 초음파의 효과는 처리온도가 낮은 경우가 효과적이었다.
초음파는 침붕층의 깊이를 증가시키며 특히 전해침붕처리에서 처리온도 850℃ 전류밀도 0.5 A/㎠ 인 경우가 효과적이었다.
초음파에 의하여 침붕처리가 촉진되는 것은 염욕의 혼합의 촉진, 시편표면의 활성화, degassing 작용에 의한 화학반응의 가속화로 생각된다.
