In nuclear power plant, it has been the important object to reduce the occupational radiation exposure (ORE) and a lot of efforts have been taken to solve this problem for a long time. The ultimate object of this study is to evaluate the ORE reduction through the optimal job allocation of the radiological workers. It is optimized the multi-objective problem that is considered such as collective dose, working time, individual dose and total number of worker in optimization of the worker allocation. In this study, these multiple objective problems were solved by a goal programming which is a kind of multi-objective linear programming. From a result of calculation with the goal programming, the total number of worker and collective dose of worker was obtained and the result varied as the priority order of system changed. If the ultimate objective of the decision maker is to reduce the ORE, the collective dose limit must have a high priority order. The decision maker can select more easily the result set of worker of each work. Therefore, the optimal job allocation of worker can be taken through this study. The goal programming methodology has capabilities to predict the optimal planning of the worker allocation and can be used to estimate the actual worker allocation results after overhaul period.
