dc.description.abstract | The logic language based on many-sorted logic, EPOS, can support object-oriented concepts such as classes and inheritance. Classes can be treated as sorts and inheritance as many-sorted unification. However, there are some problems for supporting object-oriented programming, namely, the inconsistency in inheritance, difficulty in exception handling, restricted inheritance hierarchy, etc. To solve these problems, we design an object-oriented many-sorted logic language TRY and provide translation techniques by which a TRY program is translated into an EPOS program. | - |
