After reviewing the 4d supergravity, we apply the results of 4d supergravity to 5d orbifold field theory with supersymmetry. In particular, we investigate radion mediated supersymmetry breaking and anomaly mediated supersymmetry breaking associated with radion stabilization mechanism. We write the soft supersymmetry breaking terms in both cases of radion and anomaly mediations. In the case of radion dominated supersymmetry breaking, we suggest that the quasi-localization of bulk fields in 5d theory can generate hierarchical Yukawa couplings while avoiding the supersymmetry flavor problem. In our scenario, μ → eγ process requires a certain amount of fine tuning of parameters. However, this requirement does not significantly spoil the naturalness of the theory.
