A Decision Support System for Planning Eco-Effective Products

Abstract

Product planning has been received great interests because of its impacts on major decisions during product design. Planning eco-effective products is the interface among product design, environment, and management, therefore the required information should considers technical, environmental, and economical aspects. To make the decision process more effective, decision support system which facilitates access to relevant information should be process more effective, decision support system which facilitates access to relevant information should be prepared based on the models, databases, and interfaces. Full implementation of such a system provides a road map for life cycle thinking and analytic processes that are nesessary to truly integrate environmental and business strategies.
