Wireless network technology is one of the fastest growing fields in recent years, and the design of a relay network is one of the important areas in the study of wireless networks. In this thesis, we consider a mobile network consisting of three types of nodes (source, destination and relay node), which is called a relay system. All nodes are moving except the source. We consider a relay channel consisting of two Rayleigh fading channels and design its simulator based the received signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Next, for a mathematical model of the relay channel, we partition the range of the received SNR into a finite number of intervals, and a finite state Markov chain (FSMC) model for the relay channel is built. Computer simulations are performed to verify the accuracy of the FSMC model.
