dc.description.abstractThis thesis employs a least squares domain decomposition method for solving the Poisson problem. The interface condition which is critical in classical domain decomposition algorithm is enforced weakly in the least squares functional by adding the boundary functional on the interfaces of subdomains. Numerical tests are implemented to observe the approximation properties for a model problem.eng
