Comparisons of acceptance sampling plans under type-II censoring and nonrepalcement for items with exponential lifetime distributionType-II censoring 과 비복원하에서 지수수명분포를 갖는 제품에 대한 합격판정샘플링 계획의 비교연구
The lifetime of a product or a component is one of the most important quality characteristics. Reliability acceptance sampling is concerned with whether to accept or reject a collection of products or components based upon the information obtained from life testing. Although various reliability acceptance sampling plans have been developed, little is known about their relative performances. This thesis compares reliability acceptance sampling plans under Type II censoring, Hybrid censoring, and time-truncated Type II censoring assuming that the lifetimes of products or components in a lot follow an exponential distribution. The three plans are compared in terms of the power, the expected number of failures, and the expected time required to reach a decision. Computational experiments are conducted and the results are tabulated to provide guidelines for selecting an appropriate plan for a given situation.
