dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a new reconstruction algorithm for compound scan ultrasound imaging is proposed. Data is sampled by ladder method in the spatial domain, and the display pixel data is interpolated by one dimensional linear interpolation along the lateral direction. Compounded image is obtained from two sector images which are displaced circularly each other. In this paper, the resolution improvement of a point target in dual compounding was evaluated as te angular displacement increasing from 0 to 360 degrees in order to confirm proposed method``s superiority. The image of LADDER is compared with that of conventional method. The S/N ratio improvement is calculated at compounded area. In order to obtain the sampling clock, we propose and implement a new sampling clock generator by accumulated error correction.eng
