By generalizing the clocking scheme, high order elements - third, fourth and sixth order elements - are obtained, which reduces the number of MOS operational amplifiers. Furthermore, SC filter circuits are designed without operational amplifiers, by replacing the voltage inverter switch (VIS) - which consists of an operational amplifier, capacitors, and switches - with only one switch. Experimental results of the third-order notch filter and the sixth-order lowpass filter show a good agreement with theory.
