A new multiple-loop feedback configuration which is suitable for the realization of high order transfer functions is presented. The proposed filter consists of second order active R blocks which are suitable for high frequency applications and realizable in integrated or hybrid form. A complete synthesis procedure of high order narrowband bandpass filters is described, and experimental results are given to verify the theory. Also, the proposed technique is compared with other techniques for ralizing high order active R filters. The proposed filter realizes the given transfer function with Q``s and passband gains of second order blocks as the free parameters. The Q``s are used to minimize the sensitivity of the filter and passband gains to maximize the dynamic range. The proposed filter shows low sensitivity compared with others and systematic design is one of its advantages.
