dc.description.abstractSpecial purpose micro-computer system, which can process graphic package independently, is designed and implemented in the printer. This intelligent graphic printer subsystem, along with the host computer realizes an example of distributed processing with respect to off-loading much of the special processing from the host to an intelligent graphic device. User oriented high-level plot module, UVERST is designed to facilitate users in programming. Performance analysis is done to compare the characteristics of new system with that of old system. Throughput is compared both in the host aspect and overall aspect.eng
