dc.description.abstract | Recently, IEEE 802.111 protocol provide much interests designing wireless networks. But in singlehop networks, when the number of nodes is increasing the system performance is degraded. And in wireless multihop networks, end-to-end throughput is degraded when the hops of the networks are growing. In this paper, we propose transmission control algorithm accessing optimal parameters. By using stochastic model of IEEE 802.11 DCF, we find the optimal number of collision per successful transmission and control transmission to access optimal value. With this scheme, we show that the performance is improved in singlehop case. And we extend this method to multihop case. We show that this scheme also work well in multihop case. | eng |
