dc.description.abstractAn integrated novel SIMO DC-DC converter suitable for mobile applications is designed and fabricated with 0.5 um Bi-CMOS twin-well process. The converter has 5 outputs, including 4 positive boost outputs and 1 negative one. The converter is designed to work in both DCM and CCM operation. Maximum efficiency of over 80% can be achieved at total ouput power of 450mW. Important circuits and operation are built with novel ideas that are written for Patent Application and paper submission. The proposed topology with control strategy can be extended to make more outputs with different kinds of DC-DC converters.eng
